CESL was established in 1993 and has continually demonstrated a record of exceptional performance in the leading-edge development of medical, technology, military and defense, and commercial aviation related products. We maintain high levels of expertise in systems and software engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, project management, process definition and improvement, as well as the integration of processes, products, and tools to achieve difficult project development goals.
We have applied our areas of expertise in the highly regulated medical field to real-time embedded systems applications, HL7-compliant product development, FDA compliance for medical products, remote monitoring and programming for implanted/inserted devices, wireless communication capability, Web-based user interface development, study design and statistical analysis for clinical trials, and technology assessment and selection. The focus of our efforts has been Class III medical devices.
Our expertise has also been applied to defense in threat definition and assessment; mission requirements development; radar, electro-optical, and infrared sensor systems; and land, sea, and air-based system definition, design, and development. We have high levels of knowledge and experience in counter-terrorism where our applications include foreign and domestic threat definition and assessment; counter-guerrilla, counter-insurgency, and counter-terror weapons and tactics; weapons definition and development for specific tactical applications; target vulnerability assessment; perimeter and border defense systems development; and security team training.
We have developed solutions for organizations that want to identify the relative value of their research and development efforts, determine the applications for emerging technologies, identify additional customers for existing technologies, and project and forecast technology twenty to thirty years in the future. In the area of commercial aviation, we have expertise in avionics with specific applications in the areas of flight management and navigation systems.
In the areas of medical, defense and military, technology, and commercial aviation, we are objective-focused and schedule- and budget-driven. We are equally comfortable in agile, object-oriented, or structural development environments. We can define, tailor, and implement these processes for our customers or work within their pre-defined development approaches.
Our objective is to improve the capabilities of our customers without making them reliant upon us. We are equally proficient in performing front-end development work or providing leadership and direction to projects that require immediate rescue. We reach our goals through collaborative development and building consensus while implementing new and innovative techniques for achieving improved communication through integration of team members, products, and schedules.
We are not constrained by company or geographic location and respond rapidly to dynamic and quickly changing conditions. We have worked in national, international, and multi-national environments. Our high levels of knowledge in product development, processes, and tools, combine with a keen sensitivity for achieving project goals to provide not only an immediate solution but one which may be reused by our customers in their future efforts.
